Historic Milwaukie is a neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. The borders of the neighborhood are Southeast Waverly Drive to the north, Southeast 17th Avenue to the east, the Willamette River and the Waverly Country Club to the west, and Southeast Lava Drive on the south. The entire area is heavily wooded and there are sidewalks on many streets.
Located along the Willamette River this neighborhood has a variety of housing options including several apartment complexes in addition to single family detached homes. This is a very attractive area with very well maintained homes and landscaping. Historic Milwaukie is located immediately west of downtown Milwaukie.
Waverly Country Club offers a proud tradition of over 110 years of golfing excellence. It is the only Platinum rated club in the Northwest. In addition to golf, Waverly offers the entire club experience. The course offers an open tee tradition and few games are scheduled. Scott Park is a small neighborhood park that is the location of the summer lunchtime concerts.

Portland Waldorf School is a private school located within the neighborhood. The school has grades Pre-K to 12. Education is based on the Steiner development model and offers a program of cultural enrichment, which includes two foreign languages.
Wunderland Milwaukie Cinemas is located on Main Street and still offers movies at a bargain price, plus a variety of arcade games.
Residents have an easy drive to the Albertson grocery store on Southeast Oak in downtown Milwaukie.
