Dedicated in the late 1970s, the 16-acre Hillendale Park has a natural wetland and wildlife area along its Mud Creek. Along with the preservation of nature, the park is the centerpiece of the community for family-friendly fun. Play areas, picnic shelters, tennis courts and paths are permanent fixtures in the park. Baseball and soccer fields are the park’s newest additions.

Singer Falls was named for William Singer, an Oregon City pioneer who used a creek to run his mill in the 1880s and 1890s. In 1936, the creek was developed into Singer Falls, and is one of two waterfalls in Oregon City. The 8th Street Farmers Market is located at the base of Singer Falls.
