A large shopping center that includes a Best Buy and Wal-Mart is just minutes to the southwest on the Owasso Expressway. Several other shopping malls with grocery stores and restaurants can be found in the same area.

The Bailey Ranch Golf Course is just over one mile south of Coffee Creek. Owasso Lake is just to the south of the golf course. A portion of the lake is private, but public fishing and boating are available. The lake is well stocked, and water skiing is allowed. The city of Owasso is actually part of both Rogers and Tulsa Counties. Coffee Creek is in the Tulsa County section and included in the 74055 zip code.
