The Dolese Youth Park offers a kids’ fishing pond, a playground, baseball fields, an 18-hole disc golf course, and walking trails. The Lake Hefner Golf Course features two courses surrounding Lake Hefner. The Hefner area also has fishing, walking trails, disc golf and picnic areas.

The Stincomb Wildlife Refuge is just a short drive from the Pines neighborhood. The wildlife refuge offers nature trails over and through the swamp and wetlands. Visitors can hike or bike through the refuge. Highlights of the park are its birds and the prairie dog colony.
