Seminole Pointe is a new suburban single-family residential development in far north Oklahoma City. The neighborhood is served by Edmond schools, with Angie Debo Elementary School within walking distance of the development. Additionally, the Seminole Pointe Church of Christ is found within the neighborhood. The homes are generally single-story with brick exteriors and large lots.
Access to Seminole Pointe is available from May Avenue and 164th Street. May Avenue provides access to the nearby Quail Springs shopping area. Just a mile and a half south of Seminole Pointe, the large Quail Springs Mall is a hub of activity which includes Oklahoma City’s only IMAX 3D movie theater. Office buildings, national chain retailers, and restaurants also fill the Quail Springs area along Memorial Road. With on-ramps to the Kilpatrick Turnpike at May Avenue, Seminole Pointe residents are connected to the network of expressways that efficiently moves commuters throughout the metropolitan area. Downtown is about a sixteen-minute drive from Seminole Pointe, making it easy for residents to venture into the city for professional sports, theater, and entertaining nightlife.
Staying closer to home, there are many recreational opportunities near Seminole Pointe. The Rose Creek Club is within a mile, and other courses such as Quail Creek, The Greens, and Gallardia are also nearby. Lake Hefner is a constant favorite in northwest Oklahoma City, with blue water and whitecaps surrounded by parks and trails. Boat clubs and docks at Lake Hefner are a great way to enjoy breezy summer days with sailing and windsurfing.
