Mulholland is a gated community of single-family, executive homes at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Danforth Road in west Edmond, Oklahoma. Secure entries and exits are located on both streets. Mulholland’s defining characteristic is the large lake with two long fingers, giving almost all properties in the neighborhood some waterfront access. On the north side of the lake, a public gazebo is built over the water, a perfect place for photography or picnics. Many homes have private swimming pools or tennis courts on their property.
Mulholland is served by the well-rated Edmond Public School system, with the new West Field Elementary just a mile south on Pennsylvania and North High School three miles east on Danforth. For families with children, access to Edmond schools is a major bonus.
The neighborhood is also conveniently located to some of the largest shopping areas in Edmond and Oklahoma City. The intersection of Memorial Road and Pennsylvania Avenue, four miles south of Mulholland, is the epicenter of Oklahoma City retail. This includes Quail Springs Mall and several miles of national big box retail stores and restaurants. Large office parks are also found along Memorial Road. Edmond’s commercial heart on Broadway is also lined with both national retailers and charming local vendors in the city’s historic downtown, just five miles from Mulholland.
One close family activity that is quite popular is the Edmond Soccer Club Field. This large youth soccer complex is located just half a mile from Mulholland. West Edmond’s nicest park is Mitch Park, about two miles from Mulholland. Mitch Park features baseball fields, picnic pavillions, playgrounds, and nature trails for walking, biking, and jogging.
Mulholland’s beautiful lakefront homes, along with its access to Edmond Schools and the shopping and recreational opportunities of west Edmond, make it a great place to live.
