Interstate 44 is a short distance west of the community and provides access to other parts of Oklahoma City. Cleveland Elementary, an arts and science magnet school, also services the Crestwood community. The northern side of the neighborhood is lined with shops and businesses.

Oklahoma City University is northeast of the Crestwood neighborhood and has 104 acres of park-like land. The university is a co-educational private school affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Bricktown is a popular area for fine dining and entertainment and is in the heart of Oklahoma’s entertainment district. Bricktown is surrounded by restored red-brick warehouses and is filled with specialty shops and restaurants. Another popular venture in Biricktown is riding a water taxi along the Bricktown Canal.
