The community of Glenbrook in Oklahoma City is mostly residential and features both single-family homes and apartments. Residents and visitors have access to shopping, entertainment, and several restaurants, including Bellini’s Ristorante and Grill and the Blue Fire Grill. Other nearby commercial properties include the Waterford Marriot and Wells Fargo.

The neighborhood is rectangular in shape and loosely bordered by NW 63rd Street and NW Grand Boulevard. To the west is North Pennsylvania Avenue. The Rose Hill Burial Park forms the southern border.

The Rose Hill Burial Park features one of the first public mausoleums in Oklahoma. Several famous people have been laid to rest among the thousands buried there. They include Jimmy Reece, a race car driver who was a six-time veteran of the Indianapolis 500; centerfielder Lloyd Waner, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1967; and many local politicians, including John Calloway Walton, Ulysses Stevens Stone, Grover Griffith Smith, Scott Ferris, and Roy Joseph Turner.

Glenbrook is close to several parks and outdoor attractions. Kite Park plays host to many community events throughout the year, including the annual Fourth of July Parade. The park also features playground equipment and a gazebo. The Grand Boulevard Park is located just north of Glenbrook and is intersected by a channel that is a tributary of the Deep Fork River. The park offers 10.5 miles of trails, playground equipment, a disc golf course, and an archery range. The Woodson Park Gym and Woodson Park Senior Center are also on the property.
