The Olentangy subdivision of Lewis Center is north of Interstate 270. The neighborhood runs along Lazelle Road on the south and Route 23 to the east. It is accessible through either Olenbrook Road off Lazelle Road or Olentangy Meadows off Route 23.

This is a great neighborhood for young families. Olentangy is a quiet community with homes built within the last 10 years. There is limited access to the residential areas and only neighborhood traffic on most days. Since they were built within the last decade, homes are required to have sidewalks. The neighborhood is a good place to get the family out for a walk, go for a jog, or learn to ride a bike.

The public school system is Olentangy Local Schools. Olentangy schools are highly rated by students and parents, and the district scores very high on state achievement tests. The school system has lots of resources for academic and athletic endeavors, with schools in this district offering more varsity sports than those at most others in the state.

Olentangy is in an ideal location for taking advantage of the outdoors. Across Route 23 from the neighborhood is High Banks Metro Park, with more than 500 acres of playgrounds, green space, picnic areas, and walking paths through natural wooded areas. Alum Creek State Park is just minutes away and has camping, hiking, cabins, public beaches, a dog park, and a boat ramp for access to the Alum Creek Reservoir, which consists of more than 3,000 acres. The fishing is year round at Hoover Reservoir. It has boat ramps; docks; and lots of places to fish, picnic, or just relax along the banks of the 2,800-acre lake.
