A prominent feature of this neighborhood is the Ohio State University Airport, located in the southwest sector. Another prominent feature is just across West Dublin Granville Road – the prestigious Brookside Country Club, founded in 1927. Two more exclusive and historic clubs are less than three miles northeast – York Temple Country Club and Worthington Hills Country Club.

Neighborhood shopping and retail areas include Whole Foods Market at Sun Center and Worthington Mall, with such names as Ann Taylor, Talbots, and Pendleton. Interesting parks nearby include Indian Run Falls Park and Hayden Falls Park, both with waterfalls and hiking through terrain that is most decidedly rugged.

Indeed, there are many great parks convenient to the Don Scott neighborhood. Antrim Park has a great hiking trail around the lake. Many of the Metroparks have uniquely interesting features. For example, Highbanks provides 8 miles of trails through mature forest to the 100 foot bluffs overlooking the Olentangy River. Boaters and fishermen might appreciate the convenience of the state parks just north. Alum State Park, with a 3,387-acre reservoir, offers a marina and storage. Hoover Reservoir and Delaware State Park and Wilderness Area are also favorite places.

Several libraries are close by. The Worthington Library has a branch at Hard Road and one at East Dublin Granville Road, near the Worthington Historical Society. The Dublin Library system has a branch at Indian Run Falls Park.

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium are less than 10 miles north, at the O’Shaughnessy Reservoir. Also within the zoo complex is a waterpark and golf course.
