Saint Louis University Medical Center Campus - Saint Louis, MO
Founded in 1818, Saint Louis University has the distinction of being the oldest university west of the Mississippi River. It is a private Jesuit university featuring several colleges, such as the College of Arts & Sciences, the John Cook School of Business, and the Saint Louis University School of Social Work. The Medical Center features a School of Medicine that dates back to 1891. It awarded the first MD degree west of the Mississippi in 1836. The university also has a campus in Madrid, Spain.

The Saint Louis Billikens compete in NCAA Division I and athletic teams include basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, field hockey, cross country, and tennis. Hermann Stadium is home to the men’s and women’s soccer teams. Pep rallies and other events are also held in the stadium.
