Storm Court is a tiny neighborhood in Cary, North Carolina. This small neighborhood is made up of only a single road, Storm Court, with only a handful of homes. Homes here are modern, pleasant-looking multiple-family dwellings with plenty of large green trees providing lots of canopy cover. Situated on a court makes the neighborhood ideal for families with younger children who typically play outside, as traffic safety is of prime importance.
One of the biggest roads in the general area is to the south of Storm Court where Chapel Hill Road can be found. This major roadway provides access to a lot of commercial development. Within a mile of the neighborhood along Chapel Hill Road there are numerous restaurants, most of which are local operations. These restaurants represent a wide variety in flavors and options making it unnecessary to travel far for food. For those who prefer to make their own food, there are a number of grocery stores in the area, including some culture-specific stores, such as the Triangle Indian Market off of Chatman Street.
Storm Court is also near a number of retail establishments, most of which are locally owned. These local establishments are fixtures of Cary as well as popular points of social interaction. Hair salons and hardware stores are where many locals get together to socialize. They are popular places for catching up on the latest news in the neighborhood.
The heart of Cary can be found in the middle of Ambassador Loop. In this small area, some of the major government and business buildings can be found, such as the police department and Chamber of Commerce. This is also where the Page Walker Arts and History Museum is located. This important museum tells the story of the local area and is a great place for field trips.
