City Market offers a multitude of dining options as well as some of Raleigh’s unique boutiques and vendors. One block north of City Market and Moore Square city park is the Marbles Kids Museum. Marbles is an interactive learning museum just for kids with multiple galleries and exhibits.

In north Downtown Raleigh is the Capital District, home to the State Capitol Building, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences and the North Carolina Museum of History.
