Farmridge is a neighborhood in the North Carolina’s capital city of Raleigh. Covering an area of just 0.049 square mile, this residential area is in Lake County and within the 27613 zip code. Some of its major thoroughfares include the Leesville Road, I-540, Norwood Road, Ray Road, Carpenter Pond Road, Hickory Grove Church Road, Strickland Road, and Westgate Road. It is surrounded by many other planned communities such as the Harrington Pointe, Dominion Park, and Leesville Downs.

Residents are very close to the Leesville Towne Centre, which is easily accessible via Leesville Road, just after passing the I-540 from the neighborhood. The Centre is actually anchored by the Leesville Road and the Strickland Road intersection. It houses dozens of diverse commercial establishments, including the Kids Gym, McDonald’s, Goodberry’s Creamery, Tanas Hair Designs and Day Spa, Crazy Fire Mongolian Grill, Leesville Tap Room, Hiker’s Cleaners, Harris Teeter, and Domino’s Pizza. This shopping center also hosts a Blockbuster cinema. This area is surrounded by many other restaurants, schools, churches, and specialty shops outside the shopping center.

The Farmridge neighborhood hosts the office of the Wake County Public School System on its northern portion. Its northwestern section houses the Franciscan School, St. Francis of Assisi Church, and Bethany Hills Baptist Church.

Going farther north going toward Hickory Grove Church Road is the Hickory Grove Christian Church. Traveling northeast leads to the Circle K, Best Friends Pet Care, and Stonebridge Lake.

To the southeast are churches, among them Covenant Church of Raleigh, Church of the Nativity, and Korean Baptist Church. The area is also home to the Children’s Academy, North Raleigh Presbyterian Church, and the Wildwood Country Club.
