Situated on Knightdale’s north side, the Edenburghs Keep neighborhood is comprised of single-family homes. The subdivision is bordered by North Smithfield Road to the west, Forestville Road to the north, Old Knight Road to the east, and Highway 64 to the south.
Edenburghs Keep extends over a .043-square mile area and is home to approximately 60 people. The majority of residences in the subdivision were built between 1980 and 2000, although a considerable amount of construction dates back to the 1960s. The neighborhood can be accessed at the intersection of Edenburghs Keep Drive and North Smithfield Road.

Residents with children will enjoy the neighborhood’s proximity to Forestville Road Elementary School, which is less than one mile to the north across Forestville Road, as well as Lockhart Elementary School, which is located .3 miles to the south along North Smithfield Road.
Edensburgh Keep is within two miles of Knightdale’s city center, and is also located approximately 15 miles to the east of downtown Raleigh, which is home to an assortment of cultural and historical attractions including the North Carolina Museum of Art and the North Carolina Museum of History.
In addition to its proximity to the state’s capital, the subdivision also offer commuters a quick and convenient commute to Research Triangle Park as well as neighboring cities such as Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill via major thoroughfares such as Highway 64, Interstate 540, Interstate 440, and Interstate 40, all of which are located within minutes of Edenburghs Keep.
