Deerfield at Eaglechase is a small neighborhood that is located on the southeast side of Raleigh in the 27610 zip code. It sits east of the I-440 beltline between I-40 and US 64.

The neighborhood is made up of only four streets, and it forms the rough shape of a triangle. It is bordered on the west by Brightwell Lane, on the north and east by Pronghorn Lane and on the south by Maybrook Drive. The only roads that go outside of the triangle are Pronghorn Lane and Dunrobin Court, both of them ending en a cul-de-sac. Milroy Lane cuts through the center of the neighborhood from east to west.

The homes in Deerfield at Eaglechase are all classic, single family homes. Some of the lots are smaller than others. There are a few yards that have no trees at all or only one; however, the majority of the yards have a number of tall trees in them. Though there are no apartments or condominiums inside of the neighborhood, there are some in the area around it.

Anderson Point Park is a place that the entire family will enjoy. It is located to the northeast of the neighborhood. Inside of the park, there are spectacular scenic overlooks and a number of places where wildlife can be viewed. The park also includes a playground and four miles of hiking trails. It sits on the edge of a river that can be explored by boat or canoe. Special programs are offered throughout the year for all ages.
