Made up of mostly single-family residences, Antelope Point is in the 27610 zip code and only a few miles east of the city limits of Garner and just northwest of Clayton.

Schools nearest to Antelope Pointe include Mount Auburn, Timber Drive, East Garner, and Barwell Road elementary schools, North Garner and East Garner Magnet middle schools, and Southeast Raleigh Magnet and Garner high schools. There are also several religious and charter schools nearby.

For nature lovers, Garner’s Lake Benson is only four miles to the west of the neighborhood. In addition to the lake, the area boasts 64 acres of grass, trees, and running and hiking trails. Other parks near Antelope Point include Raleigh’s historic Oakview County Park and Garner’s White Deer Park Nature Center.

The closest hospital to Antelope Point is Raleigh’s WakeMed, about six miles north. The nearest major shopping center is the White Oak Shopping Center in Garner. The 725,000-square-foot center includes a number of major retailers. The nearest library to Antelope Point is Wake County’s Southeast Regional Branch, located four miles west in Garner.

Located in a somewhat rural area with larger-than-average lot sizes, Antelope Pointe is both walkable and dog-friendly. Since the neighborhood is off the beaten trail, public transportation options are somewhat limited, with only one major route providing service to and from the nearby White Oak Shopping Center. Proximity to highway 70 and I-40, however, makes getting into downtown Raleigh, as well as to other parts of the Triangle, convenient even without the use of public transportation.
