Albright Apartments for Rent

Just to the Northwest of Raleigh, and a mere few minutes from Raleigh Durham International Airport, is the wooded neighborhood of Albright. The neighborhood is located on Albright Road, off Ebenezer Church road and Glenwood Avenue (Highway 70).

The neighborhood borders William B. Umstead State Park to the West. Three lakes offer boating and fishing activities, as well as opportunities to observe many types of wildlife in the 5,579 acre park. There are many camping areas, along with picnicking areas, hiking trails, jogging trails, horseback riding, and cycling trails. The park also has an exhibit hall, with many exhibits and educational programs for all ages. There are pavilions and an amphitheater available for rental and rowboats and canoes can be rented during the warmer months.

To the Northwest is the Leesville Community Park, which includes a library, two playgrounds (one for ages 2 to 5 and one for ages 5 to 12), a jogging and walking trail, picnic areas and an off leash dog park. There is also a community center, with many programs and learning opportunities for all ages. The park is still under construction, so all areas may not be available, but current plans should be completed by winter 2011.

Many opportunities for shopping and dining are a short drive down Glenwood Avenue or towards the airport. Downtown Raleigh is easily and quickly accessible and provides a wide variety of eating establishments, nightclubs, museums, theaters, and historical monuments and sites. The Raleigh Amphitheater and convention center also offers a wide variety of sports, concerts and activities for residents to enjoy.

The neighborhood’s close proximity to the airport and downtown area is a plus and there are a wide variety of activities and events to attend within a short driving distance. Plenty of hotels are available to those with visitors around the airport
