The Bryson Ridge neighborhood is northeast of downtown Greensboro and located in ZIP code 27405. This rectangular subdivision is comprised of streets with cul-de-sacs. Homes were built in the 1990s, and there are not many trees. The neighborhood is a nice flat area for walking and riding bikes if one does not require shade. The subdivision is easily accessible from several streets, with most leading to main thoroughfares such as North O’Henry Boulevard/Reidsville Highway/U.S. 29.

Within a few blocks of Bryson Ridge and on the east side of North O’Henry, residents will find The Shoppes at Pyramid Village. This shopping venue is located on the site of the former Carolina Circle Shopping Mall and has retail stores, restaurants, and services. The anchor is a Wamart Supercenter. North of Bryson Ridge is the North Carolina Candle Factory Outlet on O’Henry Boulevard. The outlet has an actual candle factory that visitors may tour.

For recreation, Greensboro has many lakes and parks. The nearest park is O. Henry Oaks Park on Guest Street. This 13-acre natural area is southwest of Bryson Ridge and features a playground and a stream running through the park. West of Bryson Ridge are several lakes, including White Oak Lake and Buffalo Lake, which are good places to fish.

South of Bryson Ridge and south of the major thoroughfare of Cone Boulevard is the Greensboro Sportsplex on 16th Street. Owned by the city of Greensboro, this facility has indoor soccer, volleyball, basketball, inline hockey, tournaments, and summer camps.

Other points of interest include the the Bog Garden within Benjamin Park at Hobbs and Starmount Farms Road, Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, and the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, all in the downtown area. Another is the Piedmont Triad International Airport, to the west of the downtown section of Greensboro.
