The city of Graham, North Carolina is located on the southeastern side of Burlington, about 23 miles east of Greensboro. This charming city was formed shortly after Orange County was split in the early 1800s and Alamance County was formed. The new county needed a county seat, so Graham was created to serve that purpose. In 1851, Graham was incorporated and named for Governor William A. Graham.
