Designed to promote awareness and appreciation for nature, the museum features exhibits that display the diverse natural world and man’s role within it. Permanent exhibits include the Henry Hall of the American Indian, which displays Indian artifacts, tools, weapons, and artifacts. The Hall of North Carolina Natural History has 3-D images of North Carolina wildlife, including egrets, coots, and herons. The Schiele Museum also hosts a staggering variety of traveling exhibits.
