(hide neighborhood information)

Located on the city’s southwest side, the Brucemont Circle neighborhood in Asheville is bordered by Patton Avenue to the north, Haywood Road to the south, Dorchester Avenue to the east, and the Falconhurst subdivision to the west.

The single-family residences that comprise the Brucemont Circle subdivision are a mixture of one-story and two-story dwellings that run along Brucemont Circle and several surrounding streets. The majority of homes were constructed in the 1930s and 1940s, although a considerable amount of development continued well into the 1950s.

Residents of the Brucemont Circle neighborhood will benefit from its proximity to downtown Asheville, the largest city in western North Carolina. The subdivision is also conveniently located within five miles of the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Asheville is also home of the famous Biltmore Estate. This national historic landmark boasts a 250-room home, a winery, gardens, and a luxury inn.

Shoppers will enjoy easy access to the Westgate Regional Shopping Center, which sits less than three miles to the east of the subdivision. A supermarket, pharmacy, Kmart, and several restaurants are located less than one mile to the north along Patton Avenue, near Town and Country Shopping Center.

Commuters will benefit from the neighborhood’s proximity to Interstate 40, which can be accessed two miles south of the subdivision. The interstate offers a quick and convenient commute to neighboring cities to the east such as Hickory, Morganton, and Black Mountain.

Outdoor adventurers can take a two-hour trip to the west to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This park includes opportunities for hiking, backpacking, bird watching, camping, and fishing.
