Apex, NC Apartments for Rent

Apex, North Carolina is a great place to live. The weather is mild, the shopping is plentiful, the festivals are filled with fun and entertainment, and Research Triangle Park is minutes away. It is just 10 miles from North Carolina State University, and Duke University is nearby in Durham.

Thirteen miles outside of downtown Raleigh, Apex residents enjoy plenty of wide-open space, including the nearby Jordan Lake State Recreation Area. This large area features the 14,000 acre lake and nine recreation areas. Go camping, fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, or hiking — be sure to take your binoculars and look for bald eagles.

Apex has a historic downtown district with several shops, restaurants, and galleries. Be sure to visit the Halle Cultural Arts Center — built in 1912, this graceful building was originally a town hall. Today it contains a theater, galleries, and studios. View an art exhibit, attend a class, catch a puppet show, or listen to a concert. If you prefer to stay outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and gorgeous scenery, walk, ride a bike, or go horseback riding on the 22-mile American Tobacco Trail.

Area festivals include Apex Peak Festival in May, an old-fashioned 4th of July celebration, Christmas on Salem Street, and a tour of historic homes. With so much happening in Apex, it is sure to be the “apex” of your apartment search.
