United Neighbors Together is a small neighborhood of 1,008 residents located in the Mount Read/Lyell Avenue area in Rochester, New York. United Neighbors Together is also known as simply Neighbors Together, and is actually comprised of several smaller areas put together. Some also consider Neighbors Together as the 19th Ward of Rochester, but this is incorrect–the two merely share the same section of Rochester.

Neighbors Together has many small businesses that operate in the area that comprise many different fields. Contractors, technology companies and health care providers are among the bigger sectors that operate businesses in the area.

United Neighbors Together has a high rate of home ownership. Sixty percent of the population lives in single family homes, with another 30 percent of the population living in residential apartments or apartment complexes. The housing in the area is inexpensive with median housing prices at $49,000. 58 percent of all homes in the area were built between 1920 and 1950.

Neighbors Together is located by Corn Hill and Highland parks, with both of those parks within two miles of the neighborhood. Not exactly walking distance on a cold, snowy day, but it is possible to reach the parks on foot if desired.
