Cardinal O’hara Apartments for Rent

Bounded by Main Street and the Youngmann Memorial Highway, the Cardinal O’Hara neighborhood of Tonawanda is a good location because of the easy access it offers to all parts of the city and the areas beyond. Younger students are bussed to other areas, but high school students have an advantage in that they can attend Cardinal O’Hara High School, which has grades 9 through 12.

All the residents of the Cardinal O’Hara neighborhood can enjoy Ives Pond Skate Park, about six streets to the north. Children don’t have to cross any busy highways to reach this destination with its open fields and skate park. It is a common sight to see them walking along with skateboards tucked under their arms. The park is for Tonawanda residents only.

Golfers who live in this neighborhood can tee off at the Brighton Park Golf Course. The whole family can enjoy an outing at this location with the batting cages, driving range, playground, and picnic areas. On the western side of the neighborhood there are other parks offering opportunities for enjoyment and recreation. Take in a soccer game at Expressway Field or play a few rounds of golf at Sheridan Park. This park also has a playground and facilities for rent when an occasion calls for inviting many guests.

The Cardinal O’Hara neighborhood is close to the riverfront and Veterans Memorial Park. The park contains a playground for the children, and barbecue and picnic areas. In times of inclement weather, there are shelters to rent so that park visitors do not have to cancel their plans for a gathering.
