A. Hamilton/St. Amelia’s is a neighborhood located in Tonawanda, New York, which is just outside of Buffalo. It is bordered on the south by Glenably Road and on the east by Fairlane Avenue.

Each fall, the Buffalo Film Festival makes its annual appearance. It’s held for 10 days in October, during which it screens movies from both local filmmakers and directors from around the globe. Awards are given out for best actor, director, and best film from western New York. The nearby MusicalFare Theater hosts music acts and theater productions.
Another great feature of this neighborhood is the school system, which comprises both public and private institutions. The nearest public school is Alexander Hamilton Elementary. Other public schools include Kenmore East Senior High and Thomas A. Edison Elementary. St. Amelia is the nearest private school. These are all located within walking distance or a short drive away.
Brighton Park is less than a half mile from the community. It has several trails that go through wooded areas, along creeks, and past small waterfalls. An 18-hole public golf course is located nearby. Other parks of note include Ives Pond, with its annual Quidditch Festival, and Mayors Park.
