With quiet, wooded neighborhoods dotting the rural landscape, the small borough of Clementon, New Jersey has that small-town feel just 15 miles from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Settled in 1735, Clementon began as a farming community that eventually became home to two local mills. In 1800, Samuel Clement purchased the mills and the community began to grow. The borough was incorporated in 1925.
Clementon’s claim to fame is its 100-year-old amusement park, Clementon Park & Splash World, located on Clementon Lake. Recently purchased, the park has undergone major renovations and has added new rides and features, including a Polynesian-themed multi-level aqua playground. Opened in 1907, this is one of the world’s oldest operating parks.
Situated just 40 miles from the coast and less than two hours from New York City, Clementon’s apartment rentals are located in a peaceful, tree-lined community just a short drive, train, or bus ride away from many area attractions.
