Springfield, Missouri is the third largest city in the state. Known as the “Queen of the Ozarks,” the city of Springfield is located about thirty-five miles north of Branson in the southwest corner of Missouri. Fox Grape is bordered on the north by East Battlefield Road and East Greeley Street on the south. The neighborhood sits west of the Schoolcraft Freeway (U.S. 65). It is a residential community located adjacent to a commercial area. Throughout Fox Grape, neatly manicured lawns and modern homes line the streets. In addition, each street offers a beautifully walkable area with sidewalks and shade trees.
The neighborhood of Fox Grape does not have its own community park; however, Sequiota Park is about one mile away. This mid-sized park features access to the Galloway Greenways Trail system, a playground, basketball court, horseshoe area, and duck pond. Springfield’s only off-leash dog park is about twelve miles from Fox Grape on West Catalpa Street.
For more outdoor recreation, Fox Grape residents can head to the Springfield Conservation Nature Center, only four miles away. There are 80 acres of forests and park lands, as well as creeks and marshland. The park has three miles of trails spread along six trails of varying lengths.
