It’s bordered to the north by East Bannister Road and to the south by Interstate-470. James A. Reed Road serves as its western border, while South Raytown Road serves as its eastern border.

The Longview Lake County Park is three miles to its south. The Harry S. Truman Historical Site, which is designated as a national park, is one and a half miles to its west. It offers a picturesque golf course, running trail, mountain bike trail, theater, open parkland, multiple-use sports field, and picnic facilities.

Robandee South’s proximity to the interstate places all of the greater cultural and entertainment attractions of Kansas City within easy reach of residents. There are also lots of things to do within easy walking and driving distance. The Cave Spring Association Museum is three miles to its north. The Raytown Historical Society Museum is four miles to its north, while the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art is eight and a half miles to its northwest. The Grandview Depot Museum, which offers permanent and rotating exhibits, is four and a half miles to its southwest.
