About two miles south-southeast of Downtown Kansas City, Missouri, is the diverse neighborhood of Mount Hope. Mount Hope is located in the 64109 zip code of Jackson County. Residents are only minutes away from the downtown offerings as well as area public schools. Phillips Elementary and Longfellow Elementary Schools for grades Pre-K through 6 are within a 1-mile radius of the neighborhood. A couple of miles to the east is Central High School, serving grades seven through twelve.
