Brandon, MS Apartments for Rent

Brandon is a large city on the east side of Jackson, Mississippi. It is just east of Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport. It is the county seat of Rankin County. Brandon is a terrific suburban city, just 11 short miles from Downtown Jackson with easy access to I-20 and other major highways.

Settlers in the early 1800s arrived to the area and named their newly-formed community after the first native-born governor of Mississippi, Gerard C. Brandon. Due to its terrific location, Brandon has grown into a popular city with roughly 16,000 residents. It is a beautiful city with several historic buildings. The Turcotte House, the Rankin County Courthouse, Hebron Academy, the Stevens-Buchanan House, and others are all listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

After choosing your Brandon apartment for rent, you’ll have plenty to do in this dynamic city. Catch a show at the popular Black Rose Theatre Company, go fishing and boating at the nearby Ross R. Barnett Reservoir, and check out events such as Brandon Market. The Brandon Market is a new event that showcases local artists and craftsmen. The event features a Girls’ Night Out, fashion shows, and a silent auction.
