The Warehouse District in Minneapolis is located at the eastern end of Interstate 394, to the east of Interstate 94. This neighborhood is known for having an abundance of warehouses and industrial buildings. It also contains several apartment buildings and historic lofts.

The best part about the Warehouse District is its wealth of art and culture. There are many different art exhibits throughout the neighborhood, including the Traffic Zone Center for Visual Arts off 3rd Avenue. The community is also home to a number of interesting cafes, shops, and other places of interest.

The Target Center is on the south side of the neighborhood, off 1st Avenue. This large venue is home to the Minnesota Timberwolves professional basketball team as well as the Minnesota Lynx, a women’s professional basketball team. One of the largest structures in Minneapolis, it also hosts concerts, comedy shows, presentations, and other big events.

Near the Target Center is the Minneapolis Central Library. This excellent library is not only a library, but also an impressive architectural feature of downtown Minneapolis. Inside the library are thousands of books and other research materials. Throughout the year, the library offers a variety of community enrichment events. Among them are classes and programs to encourage reading among young children.

Another popular destination is the Minneapolis Farmers Market off Lyndale Avenue. This large market has become a familiar attraction for residents who visit it on a regular basis. The market allows local farmers to bring in their goods and sell them directly to consumers. It is even known for selling Christmas trees during the holidays.
