Built in 1911, Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation is a historic district, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It contains more than 100 buildings that are considered historic. The reservation played a role in both World Wars, but is now used mainly as a training site for the Virginia National Guard.
Camp Pendleton is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia along the Atlantic coast. It is on the east side of the Oceana Naval Air Station.
