Southeast of downtown Shreveport, Louisiana is the neighborhood of Broadmoor, Anderson Island, Shreve Isle. Bordering the west bank of the Red River, this tree-filled area features medium-sized ranch homes. Views from the street to many of the homes are obscured by the trees and vegetation. Interstate 49 is nearby to the west.

Featuring dense areas of bald cypress and pine trees, Caddo Lake has great opportunities for catfish and bass fishing, picnicking, hiking, and bicycling.
