For shoppers headed to suburban malls or locals commuting to work, Mound View offers a prime location with quick access to major routes throughout the city.

Suited for families or singles, Mound View accommodates with quiet havens at Daniels Park and Tomahawk Park. Other nearby attractions include Elmcrest Country Club to the north and Cedar Rapids Country Club to the east of the neighborhood.

The 52402 zip code is also home to Central Park Church where Grant Wood was baptized. It currently serves as a neighborhood resource center organized by the Mound View Neighborhood Association.
