One of the most significant features of the Westwood Forum neighborhood is its closeness to city shopping options. The largest of these is the White Oaks Mall. Westwood Forum is also situated near one of the city’s most popular parks — Washington Park. Located less than one mile to the northeast, along South Grand Avenue West, this 150-acre park has a rich history, dating all the way back to 1901. The landscape here includes two man-made lagoons, deep ravines, and wooded areas, through which meander several miles of popular hiking and biking trails. Additional facilities offered here include 12 tennis courts, picnic areas, and a playground. Washington Park is also known for its botanical gardens.
