Illinois is called the land of Lincoln, referring to Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States. Springfield, IL is the final resting place of President Lincoln and home of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. Eastview is a nice neighborhood in a historic capital city. Single-family homes and apartments are available to the community. Wilcox Elementary, Washington Middle School, and Lanphier High School provide education for the children of Eastview.
Jayce Park is a well-developed park of about thirteen acres. The streets surrounding the park are lined with trees. The park has a large area for the residents of Eastview to play soccer and football. The area is large enough for all kinds of open play. A picnic area with a playground is also in the park.
Bergen Park Golf Course offers a great game of golf to the community. For a great game of miniature golf or practice on a driving range the residents can visit Knights Action Park. Along with the beautiful natural atmosphere, the park’s guests can enjoy its batting cages. Caribbean Water Adventure is another of the park’s attractions, and the water park has very exciting water rides including Pedal Boats and Bumper Boats.
The largest municipally owned lake in Illinois, Lake Springfield, provides boating, fishing, and swimming for the communities in Springfield. If the park’s visitors want more adventure, they can ride canoes, motor boats, sailboats, or jet skis.
