Apartment Description

1237 WEST - DePaul Affiliated Student Housing

1237 WEST is adjacent to DePaul’s Lincoln Park campus (across the street from the Clifton-Fullerton dorms), and offers 24-hour front desk security, building RAs, furnished units that have private bedrooms (with doors that lock), two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and living room area. We have FREE on-site laundry (beginning summer 2016), and a 24/7 fitness center on the first floor of the building, along with study areas, a bike room, and great first floor retail, including Starbucks. We also offer indoor parking, which is somewhat limited. You may use financial aid to pay for housing at 1237 WEST, and you are not required to subscribe to an on-campus meal plan, since we provide full kitchens. We offer both academic (September-June) or calendar term contracts (September-August or June-June). The per person rate for a standard bedroom in a four-person/two-bath unit is $1,080/month + $65/month utility/amenity fee for a calendar term. The academic term rate is $1,260/month + $65/month utility/amenity fee. There is a $490 total cost difference between the two terms. We also have other four-, three- and two-person unit configurations that are slightly more expensive. When you live at 1237 WEST, you sign a contract for an individual bed space. If a roommate decides to transfer schools mid-year, you will not be responsible for their rent. You are only responsible for your rent. If you are interested in applying, you may apply online at https://housing.1237west.com . Once we receive the completed application, we will then confirm you for housing within 48 hours. If you are using Financial Aid to pay for housing, please be sure to provide a copy of your Financial Aid Award Summary. If you are able, please visit our website – www.1237west.com – and see our Image Gallery and New Resident information tabs. You may also call us at 773 395 4500 if you have any questions.
