Adjacent to Emory University on Atlanta’s east side, the city of Decatur is a beautiful destination. Decatur feels like a small college town, even though it is located in the metro area. Decatur Heights, the city’s oldest neighborhood, was developed around 1910. This neighborhood is near Glenn Creek Nature Preserve, a small park of about two acres that includes a forest, a creek, and nature trails.
