At the crossroads of Ponce de Leon Avenue and North Highland, you’ll find the cozy neighborhood of Poncey Highland. This neighborhood was voted one of the most walkable in Atlanta. Poncey-Highland is located three miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. It is one mile south of Emory University, two miles east of Georgia Tech, two miles from the Fox Theater in Midtown, and three miles southeast of the High Museum of Art.

Poncey Highland is home to many historic sites and landmarks, including the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant. One of the first assembly plants in the Southeast, it was built in 1914 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Poncey Highland is also home to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. Freedom Park, one of the nation’s largest public green spaces, can be accessed from Poncey Highland.
