Northwest Atlanta is a booming location that offers quick and easy access to shopping options in the downtown area, and dining and entertainment opportunities in Buckhead. Almost in the center of the area is Atlanta Memorial Park. The 33-acre site includes a pair of historic houses, a research center, a museum dedicated to the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, and a garden. Lectures, tours, and festivals are held throughout the year on a variety of topics.

Slightly to the West of the Atlanta History Center is the Northside Farmer’s Market, a magnet and mecca for organic food lovers and growers. The market is open from March through December, and offers a variety of foods as well as holiday crafts and gift ideas. The main street in the area, Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, offers easy access to the restaurants and nightlife of Buckhead, as well as the sporting venues and family-friendly activities in Downtown Atlanta.
