Doublegate Apartments for Rent

Doublegate is a swim and country club neighborhood in John’s Creek, GA. It is made up of only a few roads and situated north of Buice Road, west of Medlock Bridge Road, and south of State Bridge Road. The neighborhood is heavily wooded with a large forested area located to the west, making it wonderfully tranquil place to relax.

Directly in the Doublegate neighborhood is a country club. The country club features a large swimming pool that is used for lap swimming, water aerobics, and swim lessons. The club also has numerous tennis courts that are used for individual lessons, skill training, league play, tournaments, and, of course, ongoing recreational play. A fitness center and several meeting rooms are located inside the clubhouse.

Just west of Doublegate is where most of the immediate action is located. This is where Regal Cinemas Medlock Crossing Stadium 18 can be found. This large, 18-screen movie theater plays some of the most current releases and is a major destination for local families and, of course, area teenagers.

Located around the movie theater are numerous restaurants that are popular with residents from the surrounding neighborhoods. Some of the restaurants in the area include One Forty One, Jocks and Jills Sports Restaurant, Stoney River Legendary Steaks, Sichuan House Chinese Restaurant, and Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery.

Shopping can be found off of Medlock Bridge Road, which is where the major retail giant Target is located. The area also includes a Party City, Hobby Lobby, Pet Supermarket, Whole Foods Market, and some smaller, local brand stores as well.

Several golf courses are in the area; these include the Hooch Golf Club, off of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard; Atlanta Athletic Club, located to the south off of Medlock Bridge Road; and Country Club of the South, off of Old Alabama Road. All three are within 2 miles of Doublegate.
