The diverse neighborhood of Renaissance Commons lies in the northeast area of downtown Boynton Beach in one of the most popular shopping and dining districts in the city. On the west side of the community are Boynton Beach Target Center and Catalina Center; on the south side of these establishments is the Boynton Beach Mall; to the south and southeast of the mall are Paz Plaza, Boynton Plaza, and Oakwood Square.
The diversity of Renaissance Commons stems from the variety of planned structures in the community. Businesses and residences blend in the area on the south side of East Gateway Boulevard near the Congress Avenue/Gateway Boulevard intersection. This area was designed so residents could live in a serene atmosphere surrounded by an array of facilities to suit their needs — all within walking distance.
The northwest corner, which is home to the San Raphael development, takes shopping and dining to a new level with its Mediterranean atmosphere and inviting parks. The southwest section is a mixture of condominium units and luxury townhomes. Nestled in the northeast corner is a mixture of condominiums, shops, eateries, and a large parking garage, and the southeast section contains additional condos and luxury townhomes. Water features, parks, and professionally designed landscapes highlight the heart of the neighborhood.
Residents living along the south and east sides of Renaissance Commons are afforded waterway views due to the 2,000-plus feet of canal frontage that lines its borders. Commuters will appreciate the close proximity to Interstate-95, approximately one mile east of the community. For public transportation, a bus stop is situated to the northeast, also about one mile away.
