The Nassau Village neighborhood is in Deerfield Beach, Florida. It runs parallel to the North Dixie Highway/811. There is one primary entrance to the area on Southwest 10th Street, and the main road is Southwest 1st Way.
Railroad tracks lie between North Dixie Highway and Southwest 1st Way. Much of Nassau Village is zoned commercial, though a number of single-story multi-family homes are present. Each unit has a covered porch area. A few single-family homes are located at one end of Southwest 1st Way. Nassau Village is in the 33441 zip code area of Broward County. Surrounding neighborhoods are Pompano Estates and Pompano Beach Highlands.
The area’s public schools are in the Broward County School District, which earned a Grade A rating from the Florida Department of Education for the fourth consecutive year in 2011. Nearby schools include Park Ridge Elementary School, Deerfield Park Elementary School, Deerfield Park Middle School, and Deerfield Park High School.
Several popular shopping facilities are close to home. Among them are the Village Mart Shopping Center, Rivertown Square, Deerfield Beach Shopping Center, and Sample Plaza. Other neighborhood features are the Pineview Cemetery and Interstate 95, which provides access to most of coastal Florida.
The city parks close to Nassau Village are the North Broward County Park and Deerfield Island Park. The latter is accessed by pontoon boat and features nature trails and wildlife viewing. It is not uncommon to see manatees near the island. North Broward features a variety of athletic fields, fishing, picnicking, and a playground. The Deerfield Country Club and the Royal Palm Country Club provide area golf facilities.
