Carrollbrook Patio is a small townhouse community in the Greater Carrollwood area. The neighborhood consists of three small roads that make a square, Carrollbrook Road, Carrollbrook Way, and Carrollbrook Lane.
To the north on Dale Mabry Highway, just over a mile from Carrollbrook Patio, is one of the most popular areas for dining. The area has numerous different major brand restaurants representing a wide variety of tastes. Some of the most well known of the restaurants include The International House of Pancakes, Taco Bell, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Outback Steakhouse, Buca Di Beppo, Red Lobster, Mimi’s Cafe, and Jason’s Deli.
Located directly behind Buca Di Beppo and Red Lobster is one of the largest area parks. Carrollwood Park is located off of Orange Grove Drive and is popular with many area youth that come here to play baseball and other activities. The park has a large baseball field, four tennis courts, and a lot of open space that is used for playing soccer, flying kites, playing football, and is even used by dog owners as an area to socialize their pets. The park also has a playground.
Not far from Carrollwood Park off of Carrollwood Drive is White Sands Beach. White Sands Beach is exactly one mile from Carrollbrook Patio, making it well within walking distance for the more adventurous beach-goers. The beach itself is located off of Lake Carroll. On the south side of the beach is a public boat launch, giving area residents access to the large lake for fishing and recreation.
Another popular area destination located five miles away is the home of the professional football team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers play at Raymond James Stadium, which is off of Dale Mabry Highway to the south. The stadium is also where the football team for the University of Florida plays their home games.
