Pavilion is a neighborhood in Palm River – Clair Mel, Florida. The neighborhood is generally located south of Causeway Boulevard, east of 78th Street, west of US Highway 301, and north of Camden Field Parkway.
Pavilion is made up of modern, uniform homes as part of a large subdivision. Many of the homes are located along a pond and/or have an in ground pool. The community also has a modest clubhouse that has a swimming pool, fitness center and two nice tennis courts.
Part of the Pavilion community are two schools, Giunta Middle and Frost Elementary. The schools provide much of the education for younger children throughout the area. Families come to the community looking to have their home near area schools. The schools provide amenities such as a track and playground that can be used outside of school hours by residents.
Most of the shopping in the area is about a mile away, off of Brandon Town Center Drive. This is where the Brandon Town Center Mall can be found. This massive mall has nearly 200 stores providing a wide assortment of goods and services. The majority of the stores in the mall are large name brands, however there are many local and regional stores as well. Across from the mall there are many big box retailers such as Target, Toys ‘R Us, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Ross, and Staples that complement the offerings at the mall.
The Brandon Town Center Mall is also well known for having some of the best dining options in the area. Well-known restaurants such as the Cheesecake Factory, Romano’s Macaroni Grill and Smokey Bones are favorites in the area.
Causeway Boulevard is another area for shopping and restaurants, providing a wide array of options.
