When residents want to grocery shop, there is a Publix supermarket on 113th street, a short drive to the east. Nearby Seminole Plaza offers a T.J. Maxx and a Burlington Coat Factory, as well as a variety of dining options.

Lake Seminole Park is adjacent to the lake. It is a large park with over 250 acres, and offers two miles of multi-use trails, benches for relaxing, volleyball courts and open space. The lake is open to boaters, Jet Skiiers and fishermen.
