The community of Holiday Village is located within the town of Seminole, Florida, one-half hour’s drive from St. Petersburg and only about 40 minutes by car from Tampa. The community lies just west of US 19 and just south of the Pinellas Trail. Surrounding communities include Canterbury Chase, Gulf Crest and Williamsdale Square.

One-stop shopping is available at nearby Seminole Plaza shopping center. This shopping center has a number of national retailers, service providers and dining options. Also nearby is the Madeira Shopping Center, which offers a supermarket, a Walgreen’s and a variety of fast-food options.
Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, at Bay Pines Boulevard North and 100th Way, provides healthcare for veterans in west central and southwestern Florida. This hospital also provides thousands of jobs in and related to the healthcare industry.
Lake Seminole Park, slightly northeast of Holiday Village, covers more than 250 acres along the banks of Lake Seminole. This designated wildlife habitat and sanctuary is home to hundreds of species of reptiles, birds, waterfowl and mammals. Nature enthusiasts enjoy the park for wildlife observation and bird watching. It is not uncommon to see a bald eagle fly overhead. This park also offers a number of trails, as well as softball fields, volleyball courts, playgrounds and picnic spots. Recreation on the water includes boating, skiing and fishing.
Golfers in the area enjoy The Tides Golf Club, located on the banks of Boca Ciega Bay. Beyond scenic views, this public course offers outstanding golfing, great customer service and a variety of amenities such as a pro shop.
