East Tennessee Street serves as its northern border and Apalachee Parkway serves as its southern border. South Magnolia Drive is to the east, while North Franklin Boulevard is to the west.

Governor’s Square Mall, a major Tallahassee shopping center, is a mile to the east of Magnolia Heights. Several wealthier Magnolia Heights residents are members of the Capital City Country Club, which is only a mile away. It offers sprawling, well-manicured golf courses and a clubhouse, among other amenities.
