Highway 27 runs parallel to County Road 2196 providing a secondary route into the city for commuters. A Walmart Supercenter is less than three miles west of the community. The Gulf Wind Shopping Center and Governor’s Square are just two of the larger shopping areas within an easy drive for residents. The campus of Florida State University is in the downtown area of Tallahassee with easy access from Highway 27. Interstate 10 is about two miles north of the city.
